Throughout the summer months weekends are filled with fairs and festivals. Each Thursday from May to October, residents and visitors may purchase fresh fruit, vegetables, produce, baked goods, flowers, and more from local farmers at The Old Millstream Farmers Market.
Findlay is proud to be the host of the annual Flag City Balloon Fest and Kids’ Fest which bring in record crowds each year. In early September, Findlay also hosts the Hancock County Fair offering entertaining games, rides, shows, and exhibits for all ages. For one week, fairgoers can also enjoy concerts, tractor pulls, cheerleading competitions and tasty fair treats.

In addition to summer fund, The Hancock County Park District provides an array of year-long entertaining and educational programs across 3,000 acres of breathtaking parks, nature preserves and greenway. HPD educational programs and activities include hiking and paved trails, boat launches and paddle boats, fishing, cross-country ski trails, and star gazing. With a total of 14 city parks and 14 schools which have facilities available for public use, Findlay offers endless outdoor attractions for both entertainment and relaxation.

Restaurants
While out and about participating in activities, Findlay visitors and residents can enjoy a large selection of locally owned and operated
dining establishments. Offering food from a variety of ethnicity including Japanese, Chinese, Mexican, Indian, and of course, American, Findlay is sure to offer the taste you’re looking for with family restaurants, casual eateries, coffee shops, as well as fine dining establishments. A suggested recommendation for fine dining is Japan West for hand rolled sushi, or the Revolver, where the ever-changing menu incorporates seasonal ingredients that are grown locally. The eclectic feel of both restaurants take a guest out of the norm and turns it into a dining experience.
